MusEdit "Tip of The Day"

Tip #27 - Use Ctrl + Tab to Show Toolbox and Other Windows

A general Windows technique which you may find useful when working with MusEdit is to use the "Ctrl+Tab" key combination to cycle between document windows. If you have several documents open at once hitting Ctrl+Tab+Tab+... will cycle through all the windows, bringing each one to the "top" in turn. This can be handy if your document windows are all open full-size, and you are cutting and pasting information between one window and another.

If you have the symbols toolbox visible you'll find that it is included in the cycling just like any other document window. This means that if you are still hooked on using the mouse/symbols toolbox combination to enter music on a staff (but you should break free of this habit! See Tip #3!) you may find it handy to use Ctrl+Tab to bring the symbols toolbox to the top each time you need to click on a symbol.
