Tip #16 - Use Leading Space in Staff Text to Position Text Precisely

Sometimes when you enter staff text it doesn't line up precisely where you would like it to appear (horizontally), but entering it one chord position to the right causes it to be too far to the right. The way around this is by entering one or more leading spaces in the staff text to make fine adjustments in the precise horizontal position of the phrase ( eg. if "allegro" is shows up too far to the left, use " allegro" as the staff text ).
