Tip #1 - How to Separate Interleaved Translated Lines
When you translate treble to tab (or vice versa) the lines are "interleaved" and you may want to separate the treble lines from the tab lines. Here's how you can do it:
Supposing you want to have all the tab lines below all the treble lines...
1) First, hit the Show/Hide Treble Lines toolbar button so that only the Tab lines are visible. (If there are also text lines such as lyrics you will probably want to hide those too).
2) Select all the Tab lines by placing the caret in the top Tab line, then hitting Shift+Down Arrow until all the lines are selected.
3) Hit Edit|Cut (Ctrl+X) -NOT DELETE!- to cut all the tab lines out and put them on the clipboard. If doing this doesn't leave ANY kinds of lines showing in the document MusEdit will suddenly make all remaining lines visible -do not be alarmed. MusEdit just doesn't like to show a document with absolutely nothing visible.
4) Now re-show the Treble lines (and others) by hitting the Show/Hide Treble button again. You should see a document with no Tab lines now.
5) Move the caret to the last treble line (or Ctrl+End to go to the bottom of the document)
6) Hit Edit|Paste (Ctrl+V) to paste all the Tab lines below the last treble line.
